  • Landi Renzo distributor in US?

I believeI may need to replace/rebuilt my regulator on my expedition, at the very least, I believe the shutoff valve to be leaking. I am looking to see if there are any distributers in the US for Landi Renzo, and if so, if anyone has any contact information. I would be interested in either rebuilt regulator, or a rebuild kit.

    Thanks,
    Chris

Their website says the only sales office in the 'Americas' is in Brazil.

Can you buy a different one to replace it? All the parts do the same job, right? As far as a regulator.

the TN3 is a pretty complicated regulator. It's actually 3 stages of reduction, with the third stage being electrically controlled. It is that third stage that controls the fuel into the engine, as after that stage, it is mixed in my intake. It also has a fuel pressure sending unit and a solenoid shutoff valve as part of the unit. This was a Technocarb conversion, so they had gotten a hold of them in Canada somehow.

I tried email technocarb, but have yet to get any response from them.

Have you tried calling one one their European dealers shown on their website during business hours and paying with a credit card? They have a few in Germany where there is good chance someone will speak English or many in Italy where you'll likely have to get by in Italian to order your part.

Re: Landi Renzo distributor in US?

UPDATE: I got a hold of Technocarb, and they had some rebuild kits on the shelf. about $220 after shipping from BC to SoCal, and I got the kit the next day. Very helpful! I'll be tearing into the thing in the next couple of days, so hopefully I don't have any extra parts when all is said and done...
