Re: How to bleed of CNG pressure on F-150??
I don't know if this is the best place, but I have bled mine from the line connected to the tank cause it's an o-ring seal, not a compression seal. I've also bled it down from the allen nut at the bottom of the filter housing, but that felt a little scarier. Make sure you run the engine till it dies on CNG before bleeding it down (disconnect the power from the tank soliniod).2000 Escalade (option 3 conversion) FOR SALE

Re: How to bleed of CNG pressure on F-150??
Warriorbold,
Yroc's reply sounds reasonable. I'd put, running the engine until it dies first, but that's semantics. Compression fittings can be remade, but the torque is less.
Check to be sure you're in an open/ventilated area with no ignition source just to be sure.
Ford does have a kit that connects at the back of the fill receptacle, but it's gotta be expensive. If you want details, I'll be happy to send them.
But, go with Yroc's suggestion and always open pressure fittings slowly.

dont take the plug out of the filter as with not starting it my have 3600 psi could come out like a bullet as with pressure on it it could rip the treads out of the bowl and come all at once I whould crack a line just my thoughts cowboy
