Curious, is it feasible to even THINK of converting a Clark propane forklift to CNG?

Yes, it is an easy conversion. The Propane Education and Research Council actually has a training curriculum that's available if you're serious. Let me know.
The 'under-hood' equipment is generally IMPCO and can run on either LPG or CNG so the only changes are the addition of a 1st stage regulator and replacing the LPG tank with a CNG cylinder.
There are 'kits' that mount on the end of the cylinder that have the regulator and coolant lines etc.
