    Hello

I'm thinking of converting my 1999 Ford Crown Victoria to CNG (former highway patrol car). I've been checking different web sites and these forums and get conflicting information... Would anybody be able to tell me any of the following:

    1. What is the cost of converting? I've seen prices anywhere from $2000 to $13000.

    2. Am I going to get any incentives at all for converting? It seems that only full conversion gives incentives, however I have also seen that it depends on the model/year of the car...

    3. Would anybody recommend a shop for doing the conversion in the San Francisco Bay area, South Bay preferred?

    Thanks a lot.

    Welcome to CNGCHAT.

I'm going to move the thread to service and conversions.

You won't find a currently legal conversion for a 99 anything, as the kits have to be renewed to work. Best bet is to look for a used factory CNG crown vic.
