Last week, BAF Technologies announced that it has received CARB and EPA certification, including OBD II, for the Ford F-Series pick-ups, including the F-150, F-250 and F-350. The F-Series joins the BAF Ford E-450 shuttle, E-350 van and Crown Victoria/Town Car in achieving full certification, meeting all SULEV requirements for light-duty vehicles. The F-Series conversions to dedicated CNG will be done in both Dallas and California, and will be allowed to drive in HOV lanes in states that allow alternate fuel vehicles to use the special lanes. The standard configuration will include a single tank installed in the bed with a capacity of 20 GGE. BAF already has a healthy order bank for vehicles in California and across the Midwest, and production is beginning immediately. In addition, recognizing the large market potential, several Ford dealers have already committed to selling the F-Series converted vehicles. Those interested in purchasing these vehicles should contact their Ford dealer. For more information, contact BAF’s Bill Calvert at 214/231-1450 or [email protected]. In California, contact BAF’s John Sledge at 714/376-8143 or [email protected]

Re: BAF Secures EPA/CARB Certification for Ford Series Pick-ups
Would like to know what training and certification you offer to mechanics, so that they are in compliance with the EPA and that the customer would qualify for Federal and state tax credits and rebates.
Have called the company and never gotten a reply. Please call or email me.[email protected]
