6 liter Chevy truck

I am new to the forum and have a question. I am seriously thinking about converting my 03 Chevrolet truck with 6 Liter engine to natural gas. I have heard that there could be a problem with valve seat recession. I would like to know if anyone here has a 5.3L or 6.0L gm converted with a significant amount of miles on it that can tell me if they have had any complications related to the fuel.
