Re: Clean Energy to Acquire BAF Technologies
This can be a great thing, or a huge setback for the CNG vehicle market. I just hope that CE uses their near monopoly in California to CARB certify more CNG options.

Re: Clean Energy to Acquire BAF Technologies
Of the 8 million CE is paying, it looks like almost half is made up of existing debt that BAF owes CE.
Does this mean that CE is just picking up BAF's assets just because BAF couldn't make it on their own, and CE is just making the best of a bad situation? Or is this some brilliant strategic decision that will allow CE to take over the rest of the world?

Re: Clean Energy to Acquire BAF Technologies
Monster or not, if you are going to make investements in CNG fueling infrastructure, it would be wise to make sure there are vehicles out there that can use that infrastructure. Until the infrastructure is built, it will be hard to get the major automobile manufacturers (on their own--without government intervention) to introduce or re-introduce CNG vehicles. I would be willing to give CE a pass one this one for the time being.

Re: Clean Energy to Acquire BAF Technologies
hey, if it gets more CARB certified vehicles on the road, I'm fine with it... only time will tell whether they overprice the cars as much as their fuel...1997 Factory Crown Victoria w/ extended tanks ~~ Clunkerized!
2000 Bi-Fuel Expedition --> ~~ Sold ~~ <--
