REF to White HOV stickers for California

Dont know if anyone else posted this, but thought I would pass it on.

I have been trying to get someone to confirm whether or not the white HOVE stickers in California were going to expire or be renewed.

A person at ARB finally replied and said the program will end Jan 2010, and there is no legislation written or being talked about to extend, or re-write this.

So it will be all over.

I don't think that's true.

One more thing, the current end date if the bill does not pass is January 1, 2011.

Stickers (white or yellow) don't expire. The current program allowing them solo hov access ends Jan 2011 and the bills in the legislature would extend that to 2014 (was 2016).

Sorry, my bad, Jan 2011 is correct. Here is a copy of the info I received when I questioned this.

I do see where this might of passed, extended to 2014, I am just passing exactly what I was emailed.

So what you're saying is that all the information we've posted on this site regarding the current legislation, a minimum of 3 bills that we've posted and discussed, don't exist to the ARB. So I'm assuming that ARB now stands for Assenine Reply Bureau...

I would think that a wiser call would have been to the NGV Coalition, or NGVA... or simply read the info that we've posted here from those sources, as it goes into great detail. http://cngchat.com/forum/showthread....ht=legislation
