...just so the Type IV's aren't EDO's and the Type III's aren't Comdynes you should be OK.

For what its worth, type 4 are fine if they are well protected and weight is a consideration. If you want the safest I would go for type 1 as long as they are protected from rust.
My personal perference I go for type 3. I feel they're best compromise for weight, safety, and capacity. Of course every type of cylinder gets the necessary shields and guards.
You have to decide what is the most appropriate for your situation.
