  • New commuter needs help

I just began driving 70+ miles per day commuting. Used to drive about 15. I've been introduced to CNG vehicles but really love my 2001 Chevy truck. I don't really want a 3rd car just for commuting and don't want another car payment. Can my truck be converted or is it too expensive and too much of a hassle?

    Thanks,
    KEN

    Ken,

You may want to contact Rick Oliver at Sno-Motion in Salt Lake City (801) 281-4766. He can give you a quote for a conversion. A ball park figure is between $10K - $12K, depending on how many tanks you want.

You should also look into the $4,000 federal and $2,500 state tax credits to help offset the conversion cost.
