More CNGPrices.com updates

[cngprices]

Hi everyone!

In keeping with the high standards of those at CNGChat (several people have made very useful suggestions to me about the site), I've made a few welcome updates to CNGPrices.com. The most notable is that there is now a comments tab in the pop-up window for each station. If there is information that you think is useful to other CNG drivers, pop in a comment and let them know.

I've also pre-populated the comments with station hours, payment information and PSI fills available (3000 and/or 3600 PSI) for those stations where I had the information.

You can click on the CNG Prices link at the left, or click here to try out the new features.

Thanks again for all your support and encouragement. The site is still getting about 85% of its traffic from CNGChat. =)

Hey Todd,

I was trying to fill in some comments on the your site for the stations I use and the box to type in was filled with code. When I tried to add the comments, the letters I was typing did not register on the screen. Is this a glitch that needs to be worked out?

Thanks for the note. It's amazing what forgetting to type in one character can do in some web code! It only happened in certain cases, but I fixed it and you should be able to put in your comments now.

This site is great, I love the directions link. PG&E prices change every month and of coarse are all the same, I'll post updates when PG&E puts them out. This as Curtis said, is by far the best CNG price site out there.

CE-Garden Grove

I have noticed that on CNGPRICES.COM the GG-CE station has shown to be not operational for a while now. I don't normally go there because of the steep price they charge but is very convienient in a pinch, and usually reliable and busy. Like I have said before, I would not mind paying their price if they had a station at every Arco AM-PM, or at least every 100 miles along our highways.
Anyway it probably is operational, but I dont think anyone who goes on the site for prices will go there seeing the $2.69 price!

Very cool site. I don't fill at public stations very often but have added prices when I do. What do you think about adding a rating system for the stations 1-5 stars for reliability, fill pressure, and ???.

Thanks for the suggestion. That's part of the reasoning behind the comments feature so that people can post fill pressure, etc. I'll think about the star system, but probably any new features won't happen till after the New Year.
