  • Upcoming Certification Courses

Does anyone know of any upcoming certification courses for the following?
    • Tank inspection
    • Kit installation
    • Fast-fill station design/installation

In what ways does a kit installation course open doors for obtaining and installing kits? Do they give you contact info for the EPA approved companies? Will they deal with you as an individual/start-up company?

    Thanks!
    Devin

Here's another resource. I believe Eli Jaramillo is in charge of the cng conversions class and looking to put together a class of 15 people (minimum) beginning in January.

There is a inspector certification and conversion class scheduled in St. George at CNG Outfitters the end of Sept. Check the web site.

            Devo,

Here are two resources for you. The mechanics certification organization, ASE, is offering a CNG Technician (F1) exam in the fall. Test dates are mid-November with the deadline for registration September 30. Motor Age has a study guide for that one.

Leo Thomason, NGV Institue, has fill station training. You can reach him at:
            http://www.afvi.org/in-house-training.html

Last, Larry DaShiell's CNG Cylinder Certification class in St. George is one of the best. He helped 'write the book' on cylinder inspection.

            Good luck,
