Now we have more to talk about at lunch when your in L.A.
If you can find those old versions of NFPA 52 bring them to lunch, so we can find the names.
I will take care of tracking down the people in it.

You are going to go through the previous versions of NFPA 52 to find out when it was first required. Then see who was on the committee at that time. Then try and find some of them and ask. I think I go back to the '88 version, but they are down in Calif.

In the version of '52 it is in section 6.11.3.1 & .2

Trivia questions.... cool. I give... Who, when and where?

I've tried finding it, but no luck. It's not in the federal regs/FVMSS. It smells like ANSI/NFPA. You can't get ANSI/NFPA online without paying for it. Someone out there have an NFPA 52 to see if it is in there?
