Here are some interesting facts from Rich Kolodziej and our own EIA:
Total energy used in US: 102.34 Quads
Total NG used: 23.79 quads (percentage of US: 23%)
NG used in Power gen: 7.02 quads
Total diesel fuel used (on and off-road): 6.27 quads
Total gasoline used: 17.22 quads
Therefore, we could theoretically displace ALL diesel fuel with the gas from power gen or 40% of all gasoline.
