The short answer is to take the ASE F-1 exam.
But, this is a fairly general overview (I know, I helped write it). The longer answer is to take training directly from the manufacturers. This is easier said than done, but does give you the specifics that most of the training out there doesn't (I know, I used to teach at NAFTC).
There are some text books and Motor Age has a Study Guide if that helps.
