  • Where to buy CNG hose?

I need to buy CNG hose used in the vehicle. I live in Minnesota. I am building a stern-wheeler houseboat with a furnace, fireplace etc fueled with natural gas. When I leave the dock I will use CNG to avoid having to switch to propane and having to change nozzles on several appliances.

The American Boat and Yacht Council standards state that I need to use flexible hose used on vehicles and I can't find out where to buy the hose made up with crimped fittings. I will need several pieces of different lengths as all connections have to be outside of the interior cabin space.

I need help soon as the temps are dropping up here on the river!

    (thanks in advance)

Try contacting Tom Sewell of Tulsa Gas Tech at 918-665-2641. You may also refer to the cng conversion companies listed in the files section of the group.

Ok, you have me curious. Why are you looking for end of life cylinders? Legally, in the US, they must be destroyed. All I can think is that you are exporting them to countries that have a longer cylinder life. Aren't most other countries 20 or 25 years? I'll bet that in Mexico or India they probably couls get by with using them indefinitely. You should be able to get them cheap enough. Try posting to Ebay in the Items Wanted section.
