  • Chevy cng injectors

I have a 2005 chevy 2500HD dedicated CNG. The fuel rail pressure is around 100 psi. Does anybody know the CNG fuel pressure of the newer Bi-Fuel 2500HD. I am trying to figure out if the Bi-fuel fuel injectors 12613412 217-3412 can be used in my truck. Thanks for any help.

What model year is the newer Bi-fuel 2500HD truck?
When GM re-started production of a bi-fuel 6L truck they contracted with IMPCO, who used injectors from sister company BRC for the first year (2012, I believe). From 2013 onward they used the Bosch NGI-2 injectors. These NGI-2 in varying lengths can be found online from a variety of sources. Fuel rail pressure of 110 is where the NGI2 likes to run.

Thanks for the info. Do the the Chevy bi-trucks have dual fuel injectors for each cyl?. One for gasoline and the other for CNG.

The OEM gasoline injectors remain untouched. CNG injectors are provided for each cylinder via the added manifold.
