The good news is: my replacement "clean air" stickers came in today. I put the requesting envelope in the mail to the Ca. DMV on April 2nd, as I recall. They arrived just slightly faster than the 30 days it took to get the originals.
The bad news is: My GX is still in the body shop from the $5,800.00 damage sustained while innocently parked on the street.
It was reported to me that in spite of the other driver's head cracking his windshield, he managed to have his car towed and leave the scene without leaving any information about himself (what a surprise). However, a neighbor got the plate number and by luck (I had been at the Coliseum for several hours) she was returning to her apartment as I was about to leave with the tow truck driver and she shared the information with me.
