CNG is hard to find or impossible to find in these states for the individual. Is there any work going on in the form of incentives to change this situation. I believe in the past that the availability was better but apparently dried up. Six months ago I didn't know what CNG was but now I want to become an advocate.

Re: CNG availability in Tn, VA, KY and NC
Hi there...
There is a facility called ALTECH-ECO and they own a CNG filling station in Arden (Asheville) NC. There is also a station in downtown Asheville as well. Please take a look at the web site at transecoenergy.com for more information. Alos, please stop by anytime for a visit.
Thank you,
Butch Schrier

Re: CNG availability in Tn, VA, KY and NC
Hi Curtis,
ALTECH-ECO is owned by it's parent company TransEco Energy. TransEco Energy also owns NC-CNG which is a fill station builder/packager and station owner. The station that I refered to in my earlier post located in Arden is owned by NC-CNG. The station closer to downtown Asheville is owned by the city. I will post some pictures of the station here if you would like to see how we built it.
I hope that helps a little. By the way, I am coming back home to California in May. I would like to come out to your place and meet you. I hope we can do that.
Talk to you soon,
Butch
