Keep in mind you would have to find out the how "the law" handles conversions in your country or state.

1: In general all petrol vehicles can theoretically run on CNG when properly tuned and setup correctly.

2: I believe your asking what CNG Kits are currently avaliable to purchase. We there are many actually, but one I personnally like the looks of www.prins-lpg.com

3: Depends on "the law", but assuming (big assumption btw) you can do everything yourself and buy everything brand new conversion kit. $1,800 US for the underhood components and software, then another $3-4k US for a new CNG tank, or if your lucky maybe $500-1k for a good used CNG tank. Don't forget you may need your own CNG compressor unless you have a public station nearby, these typically run +$3.5k used. Add it all up your basically going to be talking at least a +$6k minimum investment. Potentially alot more if you need EPA certifications, etc.

4: Check out the www.prins-lpg.com website link, there are pictures of the major components you will need to convert your SUV to CNG. But basically, regulator, injectors, ECU, wiring harness, CNG tank, solenoid shut-off valve, fuel filter, etc. (Keep in mind most of there kits are LPG, but they do offer a CNG kit also.)

    5. Dodge Durango, I dont see why not.

        Re: please help

Generally between 10 - 15% reduction in power.

Assuming your not also planning on adding a turbo or supercharger or I'd plan on Naturally Aspriated engine seeing about a 20% drop in horsepower. Long story short this is because you lose volumetric efficency with CNG, or in other words a 4.0L motor will breath like a 3.2L unless your boosting it.

This however does not mean you will lose 20% in fuel economy though. Your fuel economy should remain basically to the same assuming you tune the engine correctly for CNG, regardless of your fuel selection.

The other nice thing about converting your car, is it will be "dual fuel". If you need extra power for towing you could push a switch and then run on petrol.
