This is similar to what most buses I've seen have as well. it certainly would be nice to have the gage there, and an easily accessible shut-off valve, but at the same time, the only reason this is easy to do on the UPS truck is that there is no lack of space for the rerouting of everything to that nice box.1997 Factory Crown Victoria w/ extended tanks ~~ Clunkerized!

and so do trash trucks and transit buses. Almost anything that is OEM or conversion except passenger cars and light trucks
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE???
Is it called cheap; saving a couple of bucks; or just lazy

My system also was installed without a gauge. It only had a small electronic bar gauge. I've since added a gauge (0 - 5000) under the hood of my truck near the filler quick connect. It makes for interesting viewing on cold mornings to see how small a fill I get from my compressor - less than 2000 psi. Highest so far at home is 2400 psi and 3500 at a local filling station. I'm looking forward to the warmer days to see the difference at home.

To be honest, an actual pressure gage would not REALLY be as correct on a vehicle as the temperature compensated fuel gages the OEM's have. That being said, conversion systems like on my expedition that only have a 4-led bar graph are not all that useful.1997 Factory Crown Victoria w/ extended tanks ~~ Clunkerized!
