Re: Toyota Camry CNG serviceing
Cool thanks, I drive by them every day for work. What types of issues have you had with your Camry? Right now mine sometimes doesn't want to start right away and I just keep trying and push the gas pedal down a little, that seems to do the trick.-------------

Re: Toyota Camry CNG serviceing
Digging up this old thread to pose these questions for Camry CNG owners:
1) Anyone know of a good place to get one serviced in Northern California (Bay Area)?
2) What do you plan on doing when 2014-2015 comes around and the tank needs to be replaced?
Thanks,

Re: Toyota Camry CNG serviceing
im getting an idling problem, i took it to a mechanic who charged me nearly 300 dollars for the spark plugs and wires figured its fixed its worth it well problem came back now they want to change the air idle control valve it does sound like a better solution but was wondering if any one else had experiencing this problem specifically the car idles really rough bouncing between 300 and 1300 rpm some times a few times now when i have tried to enter the freeway the car will not shift gears and tops out around 45 mph and stays at a high rpm.
thanks in advance,
Scott

Re: Toyota Camry CNG serviceing
Toyota made 300 Camrys, spanning model years 2000 and 2001. All but one went to SoCal Gas and PG&E. The one went to my friend who consulted with the two gas companies to convince Toyota to maand was able to score a new one for himself. It has over 300,000 miles on it and running strong
