  • Propane Tank Dillema

I want to convert my truck to propane. Unfortunetly, the 85 gallon tank I bought needs some upgrading but it's about 3/4 full. I would like to hook it up to my portable propane heater... a contractors style unit...and run it during the winter. Is this possible?

With the right regulator, you should have no problem hooking it up. However, keep in mind that the heater is most likely designed for outdoor use only. Do NOT try to heat your home with it, as you will be introducing CO directly into your sealed up home. VERY bad idea.

Check with the local Propane company, they can probably empty it for you -- safely
