Regulator Seaping?

1. So I went in to the dealership to get my filter replaced. When I picked it up they said that my regulator was seaping? My car just recently started running bad, seems like a misfire/stutter/tranny slip, but I guess it may be the regulator? I have a 99 with 89k on it. Do my symptoms seem like that may be the problem? Never dealt with this part before, so I have no idea.

2. Would this be covered under the 15 year emissions warranty in California?

3. If it is the regulator, what are my options? Any rebuilders out there? Aftermarket price vs Honda price?

1. Doesn't sound to me like the regulator would be the cause of poor running. Either the pressure is correct at the injectors or it isn't.

2. I'm pretty sure the 15/150 warranty only covers 2001 and up.

Yeah your right, the check engine light came on and it said misfire in cyl 1 and 4. I ordered some fuel injectors at autozone and put them in. Still running rough but the check engine light didn't come on. I pulled off the distributor cap and it had some corrosion. So I'm going to replace that and the rotor, maybe the wires too. Then I'm selling it. Good bye to CNG. Saving up for an electric car in a couple of years. You are also right about the warranty. I found it online. Thanks for the reply.

LOL. Or maybe not good bye to CNG with these Honda Clearance deals that are going on. Wonder if you can get the special lease or low financing on the GX.
