P1183 Engine Code 01 CIVIC GX

Hello,

I am getting a P1183 engine code and cannot find it on the internet for a Honda Civic 2001 GX Model. Can someone help me where to find it or what it means?

CNG Fuel Temperature Sensor Circuit High Input

Trouble Code Conditions: Key on or engine running, and the PCM detected an unexpected high voltage condition on the Fuel Temperature sensor signal circuit.

Possible Causes:



Fuel temperature sensor signal circuit is open

Fuel temperature sensor signal is shorted to VREF

Fuel temperature sensor is damaged or has failed

PCM has failed

Thanks for the reply, however, every instance of this information that you provided I did find and it was linked to a BMW, not a Civic. If I am wrong, I would kindly ask for a web reference or other reference for this message. I do appreciate your information and would love to be wrong here so I can proceed.

I understand your concern, Having an engine light come on is a pretty nerve racking situation...

go to Autozone.com

Set up a free account and select your vehicle and year.

Look up trouble codes for your 01GX, P1183 is in there.

I can't pull up the direct site because it required you to log into Autozone. I can take a screen shot if you want..
