I have an '07 GX. When the engine is good and warm and I stop at a light, with it still in gear, or pull into a parking spot and shift it into park and let it idle, it idles rough at times. (The A/C and defroster are off.)
I can quickly turn the interior fan on a couple of clicks and get the idle to stumble a bit, too. (The A/C and defroster are still off.) Sometimes I can watch the tach drop to about 500 rpms before the computer catches on and revs the engine a bit.
I'm wondering if the alternator is running at the hairy edge and having to bump up its output to compensate for something?
Anyone else notice this?
