Cold Weather Acceleration HELP!!!

My GX does not run well when it is cold. I floor the accelerator but the RPMs don't go up. I think the computer is overriding the gas pedal. Is that possible? Once I get the vehicle above 3000 rpm it does not have any problems. How can I fix this?

What year is your car? I think the first thing to do is get it checked out and diagnosed. There is very little you can do without a computer to read the codes. In fact, I wouldn't even want to try to repair these new cars, too many computers in there controlling things.

If you bought the car new, or got it with the original warranty book, there is a lot of cng related stuff that is covered under longer warranties than most other parts. It could be as simple as a clogged filter, but there is a number of things that could be causing the condition.
