I am starting this thread for two reasons: 1) for buyers of the GX to share their experience (and price) with each other and the community of future Honda GX buyers and, 2) to reward "good" dealers (and sales people) with positive feedback (and perhaps more car sales) as well as to publish "poor" experiences with dealers (and sales people) so that they will re assess their customer service and how they conduct their business.
Before your begin your "rating" and experience, PLEASE first list the NAME OF THE DEALERSHIP, the location, and your date of purchase. Then drop down a line and state your experience.

My buying experience was good. I bought a new '08 GX with my pick of colors (I choose the green) for $500.00 over MSRP and that price included the mud guards. I first got an internet quote from Rock Honda (which was too far for me to visit) and I used their low ball quote to negotiate with the INTER NET SALES TEAM at Galpin (John Mulador). I was in and out of the dealership in about two hours.
Though my first choice to buy was with Curtis at Honda of Palmdale (an invaluable resource on this web site), he didn't have any cars to sell and I wanted to buy before the '09 price increase, before the '09 "buying frenzy" began, and I wanted to get my CA $3,000.00 rebate form in A.S.A.P.
My experience (before my purchase) with my local Honda Dealer -- Power Honda of Valencia -- was poor. They get so few GXs in that they just don't care about you -- no big deal to sell one GX a month.
