Flashing Low Fuel Indicator with Full Tank

So we filled or 08 Civic this weekend and got in it this morning and it starts out reading full but then the indicator goes to empty and flashes. The manual say contact Honda. I did that and they are confused. I have looked around and found some say it is from a bad pressure sensor on the tank. Has anyone had this problem before?

Yes, I had that happen to me. The first time I took it in they said it was a problem with the computer and reprogrammed it. It happened again a few weeks later and then they replaced the fuel sender unit. It was under warranty, otherwise it would have been over $2k! This was on a 2002.

Have seen this twice. Both were fixed with a quick computer reset.
