2000 GX Hitch?

I'm looking for a 2" receiver hitch for my 2000 GX (will only be used for a bike rack). Having a hard time, at checker auto parts Their supplier has a gap at the year 2000, they have some for 97-99 and 2001-2005, but not 2000. Also, some folks get confused when I tell them GX. Am I safe to just tell them its an LX or some other model?

I have looked online, but all I could find was the smaller 1.25" receivers and I need a 2"

I've had our 2000 since Oct 2000 and found glitches in listings similar to what you're seeing... I can't talk to hitches, but on other items I've been good going with anything 98-00 with "LX" body style.

I do understand the only item where using earlier year or LX may not work... It turns out that the 2000 GX is the only 2000 Civic that lists a 70 series tire (all the others are 65 series and the same 185 width). I believe the stock 2000 GX must have come with a 70 series tire (I don't know for sure as I paid the dealer to put on alloys and they came with the 65 seiries when we bought the car). The effect is that the speedo shows a slightly higher speed than is real (about 3 MPH at freeway speeds).

The 99 one should work because its the same model from 98-00.
