Thanks for the link. I just got the '09 GX brochures the other day. I'd have to say there's no major changes in store for '09. Minor cosmetics include:
Slightly larger grill opening and faux air inlets on the lower outboard corners, similar to the coupe's lower facia. It looks like a little touch of chrome over the rear lic plate, but it's hard to tell from the picture. The NGV loge is now a gradient of deep sky blue to light powder blue with the words Natural Gas Vehicle in white. Crystal Black Pearl replaces the Nighthawk Black that's been on the Acure/Honda vehicles for the past 10 years or so. I can't really detect much of a change to the tail lights, head lights on the vehicle.
Not yet, that usually occurs several months after the vehicle is released to the market. The delay comes from having to reapply for the new model year. I anticipate this year will go as all previous years and the car will qualify for the federal program. It will likely still be the cleanest burning internal combustion engine (in a passenger car) in the world.
Ford makes a limited number of Hydrogen ICE powered shuttles (F-350 or 450 I think) that are in testing in several areas of Ca. My suspicion is that an ICE on Hydrogen might be a little cleaner than CNG. http://www.greencarcongress.com/2007...elivers_h.html
