GX Performance Modifications

OK, I realize that using GX and performance in the same sentence is somewhat of an oxymoron, but has anyone had any experience with minor modifications, such as K&N filters and intakes or even Mobil One, on performance and/or mileage?

I put a K&N in my F-150 and got ~2 more miles per GGE

I put a K&N on my GX and noticed better performance. It will save you money in the long run, they last (almost) forever. I get about 36 mpg on my 140 mile commute, about 100 freeway miles @75-80mph, 20 miles Highway 65-70 and about 20 miles city, stop signs and all.
They are about 40$ and you will notice the difference.

.... and they generally don't meet warranty specs

It wont void your warranty. Just swap it out before you go in. Easy Peasy....
