Hello everyone! Let me say this.
I have a 98 Silverado 4x4, 5.7L thats been my DD and a gas hog since day one. I have recently purchased a bi-fuel setup for gas/cng, alternatives brand for this truck from another 98.
I have already installed the alternative intake, the 3600 psi tank, fill valve, cover for the tank, LPL, LPR, HPL, and lines off the engine. I am getting ready to install the lines that go back to the tank with the HPR and connect into the FSU.
I have everything I believe but could use some guidance if possible.
Forgive me I have read every GM manual I have for this and still have alot to learn. I am ignorant on wiring though. What I need to know is tying the AFECU into my stock ECU. I did get the wiring harness for the motor. Will I loose any features or controls by pulling the plugs on my stock harness and replacing with the AF harness? Thanks for any help for the ~newbie~
