I haven't heard from Helm since my call to them before Christmas. I'd received a follow-up call shortly after the holidays to clarify what I wanted (anything CNG related) but their representative had never heard of such a thing before and was doubtful they had anything.

I found the best prices and service to be with
    http://www.factoryautomanuals.com/.

I recently ordered both 98 & 99 Cavalier bi-fuel service manual supplements, I believe he still has another 98 manual available. I wanted all the years that he had, but he only had those two model years. I think Dan was his name, and he was very helpful. Shipping was reasonable at $5 for the supplements.

Right now he is having a huge sale on what looks like all of his manuals and I could have purchased a full service manual set for $60 and he would have "thrown in" the bi-fuel supplement, but since I already have 4th quarter 2006 Alldata, I already have that covered.

Ebay is another alternative, but be persistent with different search terms, such as bi-fuel, as I was able to uncover some supplements by changing to that search query.

Moderators:This company carries alot of other vehicles CNG service manual supplements, and at a very reasonable price. Perhaps posting his link in a more central location would be very helpful to the readers here, or maybe hit him up for some advertising??

I see on other threads where some have purchased repair manuals. If these are specific to CNG, can anyone give me a source to purchase my own?

The Helms manuals are the actual factory service diagnostic and repair manuals.. there is no better info I have Aldata online and Mitchell and they both copy from factory manuals

I am doing a Duramax Allison diesel swap into a 98 Hummer H1 and I have the helms manual for the 05 silverado there are 5 books for this one year of truck and they are about 3 1/2" thick each

The manual pretty helpful, has some part numbers. Alot of parts are available from http://www.gmpartsdirect.com if you have a part number.

Somebody recommended this site to me for my 2002 cav. I have a manual ordered, but haven't seen it yet.

    Lack of maintence/repair info...

    Hello Everyone,

Is there any information available as to the fuel supply system on my 2000 Bi-fuel Cavalier? I'm just looking for any information I can find.

As a new member of the forum, and as a new owner of an older CNG vehicle, this has been a very interesting (and fun) transition for me from gasoline to CNG. However, I must say that I'm disappointed at the lack of information out there regarding CNG components, their location, and theory of operation. I'm a curious type and I've read somewhat here on the forum and also online...just about anything I can get my hands on. I've spent lot's of time with my new ("new" to me) vehicle trying to learn where stuff is and how it's all supposed to work. It seems that either I'm missing something obvious, or the idea persists that if there's any glitch, you gotta take it in somewhere and have someone else fix it for you. I know there's a CNG supplement to the factory service manuals out there, but it doesn't seem to be available. It appears the forums here are just new enough that they haven't had time to accumulate items I'm used to seeing on other forums. This all seems to apply to parts also. I haven't seen much of anything about parts supply for our vehicles.

Maybe it's all just simple economics - supply and demand. I suppose there's not much demand (compared to other vehicles), so there's not much in the way of supply of parts and information.

This forum is a great resource for us. I look forward to reading (and if possible, contributing) to the threads here.

    Thanks
Working...
