  • 2002 Silverado 2500 HPR coolant lines

My truck in from CA and now is in UT. The coolant lines that go to the high pressure regulator have been bypassed for some reason. Do I need to get those reconnected before winter? Could the HPR be damaged if they are not? I'm worried they did that because it was leaking somewhere beyond that. Thoughts anyone.

The coolant lines to the HP regulator should be connected at all times to prevent freezing of the regulator -- especially if there is any moisture in the cng.

The drop in pressure from tank pressure to working pressure causes a refrigeration effect,
