I own a 2000 1500 4x2 single cab cng converted silverado. I own a pest control business and have considered selling it for something better on gas mileage. The blue book value is about $6500 on it but I imagine I could get more for the cng capability. How do you price a conversion?

Clearly, you'll save more money and generate less pollution with a CNG vehicle than a gasoline one. Or perhaps your reason is increased range?

Re: How much should I sell for...
The market has separated itself from reality right now. It's a great time to be a seller.
Forget book values, they don't mean anything any more. If you listed it for book someone would buy it and sell it in UT for twice the price, I've watched it happen. The problem sellers are running into is that no one can finance used cars at such high prices. A friend of mine couldn't sell his Civic because no one could get a loan. A cash buyer is your best bet. If someone expresses interest but doesn't have cash in hand don't get too excited.
By the way, if anyone is interested in a 2002 Civic w/ an extra tank (installed by Murphy) PM me, my buddy is still trying to sell. UT credit has been taken.
