I am interested in buying a NGV Silverado. I live in Indiana and have talked to some dealers and they don't know anything about it. Does anyone have an idea where I should go?

Re: New GM Truck NGV
Honda is the only manufacturer producing a factory CNG vehicle, the Civic GX.
Everything else right now has to be a conversion.
Everyone needs to speak up at their dealers to get CNG noticed.
Unless they actually know of the need, they won't come back into production.Dave Clement

There is a tax rebate for this conversion based on the weight of the truck. Another thread in this forum discusses the exact figures. If you call BAF they can probably let you know which Ford dealers are doing this and in what states.

Re: New GM Truck NGV
There's a company in Utah County that does new GM's called Maltees. Don't know how legit they are but they don't have a website and I don't know their contact info (I was just talking to a guy with a new GM truck that said that is what he and a group of his firefighting buddies do for work.).
Good luck!

New GM FACTORY CNG Truck
A university near me has funding for 6 cng vans, and, ....guess what?....they cannot find anyone to do a CARB conversion.....they'll sell those old dedicated trucks when new ones arrive too! They currently run 33 CNG trucks, and believe in them.
If all of us contact our local GM fleet sales guy in an Alt Fuels dealership and suggest that $1.50 fuel might perk up GM light truck sales, and we ask them to contact their corporate fleet guys.....Maybe we can get some traction.
Someone in an earlier thread brought up the idea of also having Mfg promote fuelmaker........great idea to sidestep infrastructure too!
Anyone care to help me build a running list of Alt Fuel Fleet SAles contacts ?

Anyone know some corporate bigshots in Detroit?
