Any one know if there is a trailer hitch available for a 2002 Cavalier? Not to pull a trailer but to carry bikes or luggage rack? I called two local shops their catalogs had a hitch for all cavaliers except a CNG. Is there something different about the CNG? All I want is a place to carry my golf clubs!

Re: Cavalier Trailer Hitch
I got mine from Hidden Hitch for my 2003 Cavalier bi-fuel. I've pulled a small trailer with it but don't recommend as hard on tranmission. Go to www.drawtite-hitches.com as they have nice Hidden Hitch (part number 60973) for $130.75 for your 2002 Cavalier.
Now I'm looking for aluminum cargo carrier so I can carry cooler, etc. out behind the car without adding much weight.
I do NOT recommend the roof rack that other guy recommended. That's an absolute killer for gas mileage due to the massive aerodynamic drag on car.
Hidden Hitch is definitely the way to go. Good luck . . . installs in about 20 minutes with just a few bolts (no drilling!!!).

Re: Cavalier Trailer Hitch
Thanks for the information. Two vendors here in SLC said the hitch was different for CNG. They thought the gas lines were in the way and didn't want to install on my car.
With the OEM tank in the trunk one full size set of clubs will fit but with an extra tank I might get shoes, a bag of Tees but no more.
