Were the Yukon or Tahoe made CNG?

I am learning about CNG and am interested in buying an SUV that was made as a CNG at the factory. Does anyone know if the Yukon or Tahoe were ever manufactured as CNG only vehicles?

They were never factory produced. You do see one pop occasionally that has an aftermarket bi-fuel conversion. They usually come out of AZ and have a smallish tank of 5 gge or so.

Whitney, as far as I know, there were never any factory CNG SUVs. The closest is the Ford F150 7700 4x4 Supercab. They have the small rear opening doors in the back and six seatbelts total.
I've also seen some fleet Ford Explorers that were converted by the city of NY, but again, it was an aftermarket conversion.

Derek is correct no sucj thing as a factory converted SUV, I have sold over 75 CNG SUV's and every one has been an aftermarket conversion.

Is there a particular reason you are looking for factory conversion? I am in the business and I have chosen to go aftermarket with all three of my vehicles.

The CNG option was an aftermarket conversion.

CARB has a pretty definitive list of dedicated CNG vehicles. Tahoe and Yukon are both on the list.

New dedicated conversions were on the list, but I don't think Baytek or BAF have a current SUV for 08 on the list.

I'm guessing that the CARB approval process is cumbersome and time consuming.
