Problem with Crown Vic

Last week I cleaned my injectors following the sticky in this forum. My filter arrived yesterday and I installed it today. I went to the station to get gas and now when my key is on my car is leaking out the fill connector. I dont know if there is a pressure release that is after the primary valve that only opens when the car is on. or if the actual fill valve is leaking through a one way valve that is between the primary valve or what. Any help would be great.

do you mean at the valve where the pump connects? i had that problem shortly after i got mine and a shop said it needed a new filler neck or somethign. as it turned out, the o-ring inside the fille was gone and i went down to ace and bought a few different sizes to try. once rpelaced with the proper size, it worked fine.

fyi, i also did the injector cleaning and that worked really well and took away my lean runnign condition.

That is probablly what I should have done. Ya they replaced the whole filler neck. Cleaning my fuel injectors has increased my gas millage and also given me a noticible increase in power.
