    Hey guys,

I've been thinking about getting a truck and I saw this 1997 F-250 CNG..... What do I have to look for or ask for when I want to buy this NGV?

What are the common problems of these trucks?

    1. Take the cover off of the cng tank and look for physical damage, even minor scratches in the overwrap.

    2. Tank expiration date , and get the physical size of the tank, so you can price a replacement , and maybe upgrade to 3600 psi. because of the room available , this may not be so bad.

    3. If it is a bi-fuel, someday the compuvalve will fail, and good luck finding a working replacement. It will run just fine on gasoline even with a bad compuvalve.

What did you find. I have a 98 F250 NGV only. I also have 09 Ford Contour. They work great.
