valve help

i have had an issue with my valve being stuck open when i remove the pump after refilling. what causes this? in the past it has been a very small barely audible leak but today it was a fully open value that spewed cng. if i put the nozzle on and pull it off again it usually stops the leak. sometimes it talks a few times for the leak to stop. what can i do?

Just bring it by our shop and I will see if we can loosen it check ball up for you (No Charge). If that does not work there are new or used fill ports. Any questions just give us a call.

Prob causes 1. Dirt or debris in the fuel, Ice forming during fueling from excess moisture in the fuel or 3. the check valve is starting to wear out.
