  • 2001 Crown Vic p71 cng misfiring in gear

    Hello,

    Im a owner of a 2001 Crown victoria Police interceptor. After parking my car for a couple of weeks, i decided to drive it. While in park the car idles ok, but when I put it in reverese or drive the vehicle idles bad. Ive put in new spark plugs. Can anyone help me!

    Could be your coils; search this site for "coils on plugs."

      is it shooting any check engine lights at you? Could be a lot of things.. might be a fuel delivery problem (has enough fuel for idle, but not much else). Injectors frozen/mucked up?

        Ok. A friend of mine is a master tech for ford with cng vehicles, and he said it could be a coil, but he stated i had a very bad vaccum leak. so ill let cha know. thanks for the help so far.

          Oh and no there is no check engine light.
