  • cost for 60k service

My 2000 ford f150 7700 dedicated cng is due for it's 60k service.
Has anybody had this done at a dealer? If so, what sort of price
am I looking at? (assuming no other incidentals of course)
    Thanks!
    John

    Re: cost for 60k service

Well I finally got my 60k done. I went to AFV in Fontana.
They were great to work with. It ran me 322.90 and they topped my
tank when it was done. When the fill valve started to leak when
they disconnected and they were unable to get it stopped they replaced it and didn't charge me as a gesture of good will.
I highly recommend them. They service a lot of fleet vehicles (which my
truck was) and they do conversions.
Their contact info is listed on this site. Tell them John Coleman sent you.

        John,

Who did you deal with? I have 2 factory CNG Fords that I would like to get serviced. A name and number would be great!

Also, do they do private party/ Personally Owned Vehicle service?

Boycoolman, Just out of curiosity, What did your $322 service include?

According to the motorcraft web site, in addition to several checks, a 60k would include an oil change, trans service, spark plugs, air filter, and front wheel bearing pack. That looks like about $600 worth. $322 would be a steal!!

They didn't do the plugs or repack wheel bearings. I'd had the trans done
previously. I was mostly concerned with the CNG inspection, filter and certification. They did do the oil, coolant and inspected brakes, suspension,
u-joints, and dozens of other things.
They charged $195 for 3 hours labor on the PM.
$85 for 1 hour labor on the tank inspection.
$42.90 for fir oil, coolant and filter. They forgot to charge for the
fuel filter so they gave it to me.
