    Bed Lenth CNG F150/250

What is the usable length of the bed in one of these vehicles?

I am considering buying, but they are few and far between in person. I saw one a couple months ago in a parking lot but did not have my tape measure with me.

    Thanks in advance.

      I have a F-150 with ext. cab.
The total length of the bed is 6'6" and the cover for the tank takes away 18".
so the remaining length available is 5'.

Yes, you lose the front 18" in a full size bed regular cab as well... 6 1/2' useable (but you lose even more capacity for hauling heavy stuff due to the location of remaining bed... its easier to get too much load aft of the rear axel) Happy Friday!

Overall this is good news for me. I have an extended cab (gasoline) F150 now, with the 6' 6" bed (and it's a flareside, so the bed is narrow too). I can live with this bed length of the regular cab CNG F150.

A regular cab dedicated f-150 (two tanks in 8' bed) has 63 1/2" behind the tanks.
