  • Won't switch to CNG, blown fuse to blame?

I just picked up a 2001 F-150 in california over the weekend. Filled up the CNG last night and the switch doesn't light up. I think the blown mystery fuse might have something to do with it. The fuse cover says check owners manual but i haven't got one. Anyone got a diagram? Or should i grab one at a dealership? Oh ya, it's a bi fuel.

Hi;.........2 fuses are on a relay panel just below the battery. Fuses are a little hard to see, as they are under black plastic caps. The one that usually blows is a 3 or 4 amp. Good luck, Bob

Thanks for the tip Warrior i fixed it earlier today but that is exactly what had happened. I was just cleaning it up a little bit and pulled those fuses out for kicks and the 3 amper was corroded apart. I was kinda dissapointed that it was that simple to fix. Now i have a green light on my dash

It wasnt the fuse in question but it was a fuse nonetheless. Is it worth buying an owners manual? Are factory fuse panels identical to straight gasoline vehicles with the CNG added as an entirely separate system?
