the overdrive icon on my crown vic was for about twenty minutes while I was driving to work. After I stopped the car it stopped and hasnt blinked since. I am going to get it checked tomorrow because thats all the manual said to do. Does anyone know what this could mean?

The Overdrive Blinking is usually an indicated that a troulble code has been originated by the transmission. Any OBD reared can cathc the code and determine the problem. In most instances it is a pressure issue in the transmission, and an inspection is necessary to determine the cause. -

I am getting 8 mpg on my 99 crown victoria. a third of what it used to get. a diagnostic check did not read anything wrong with the car. I know i can do the basics spark plugs, filters, oil change. does a cng have a different fuel filter and is it expensive hard to replace? is there a possiblity that there is a gas leak? how could I tell if there is one?Comment
