I bought a factory converted F250, but it didn't come with a tank. In the bed of the truck there is 1 line for the natural gas and another with an electronic plug and wires. Please forgive my ignorance but I have no idea how these connections go.

The CNG line should be a high pressure stainless steel. It should be capped to keep pressure in or dirt out. The electric plug should have two wires; one fro the hot wire to the solenoid valve and other a ground. The soleoid valve is insulated from rest of the valve. The wire itself should go to solenoid relay.

I picked up a tank that has the valve attached, but I'm not sure what I do from here. Also, the guy told me the valve does not have the Pressure Release Valve (PRV). Can I buy that after market? Also, how does the electronic wiring connect? I probably need to take a look at someone else's system to see how the connections work. Anyone available that can share some ideas?

If the valve is the factor Ford valve, it electronic and fits about a 2" port in the tank and there will be a place to plug in the electrical connection. If the valve is the factory valve (made by GFI) it has the PRD (Not PRV) built into the valve. Look at the bottom of the valve (that goes inside the tank) and next to where the solenoid goes into the valve body you should find a hole around 5/8 of an inch that looks like it has a piece of lead in it; that is the PRD.

The cylinder is required to have PRD that is approved by the cylinder manufacturer for release flow, vent of the CNG, and for the proper temperature and pressure. I believe this found in NFPA -52. You should not put any old PRD on the tank.

The electricl connection is two pin connector with an "O" ring. It is held in by a screw.

I don't know anyone in your area that can help, but make sure whoever you find has experience with this type of system
