What is the problem? The Check Engine light comes on also and only when using CNG. When using CNG the car will start to sputter and then starts to run ok. Can anyone help?

Pull codes. Make sure the pressure to Compu-Valve is within specifications. I have seen Compu-Valve do that, but do not jump at any conclusions.Originally posted by CNG MOTORS View PostComment

My 1999 is doing the same thing. I had the Compuvalve replaced in October last year. If you find the problem please let me know.

Check the OBDII codes first. My compuvalve is doing the same thing, unfortunatly my needs to be replaced acording to Champion Ford!Comment

It turned out to be a bad Diod in the Altentor that was causing the car to cut out on CNG. Compuvalve checked out OK. I had the fuel filter replaced and the injectors flushed. There was oil in the filter from the compressors at the fueling stations so you need to change your CNG fuel filter as required. Every 1500 miles.
