Re: Just installed new spark plugs

Did you replace the coils or just the plugs. I've just finished putting my new plugs in and am debating about whether to replace the coil packs also since it such a job to get to all of it.

So you removed the compuvalve? How easy was the 5-8 side? I am going to do mine and was wondering if it was possible to do w/out removing the fuel rails. Did you change your O-Rings also while you were in there?

Wow, tearing into that twice, I don't envy you but great work! Where did you get the o-ring set for 8 bucks? Did you mean 80? If you are doing it again, I would get some coil packs and swap them in, e-bay has inexpensive ones.

you'll have to let us know how it goes. I need to change the O-Rings and the plugs on the one side.. I am debating whether or not I am going to change out the coils too..
If you don't mind.. it would be cool if you snapped a couple pics while your going to work on it..

if your going to hell i'm comming with you. i have been an ase master tech for 15 years these were crazy to change. there was almost no hook left on the electrode at 101k and your right a bad coil will set a code. i would recomend trying to get a couple of boots and springs before you start and do not tackle this on a sunday or holiday you will be stuck hitchhiking
ps don't try to drink beer when you do this you will loose all those little screws lol
